Traditional Brazilian recipe, from the state of Minas Gerais. Pão de Queijo (as it is called in Portuguese) are delicious cheese bread balls that can be eaten at any time of the day and just look out of place on the Dutch appetizer board.

They are made from tapioca flour (from cassava) instead of wheat flour, so they are completely gluten-free, and with no added sugar.

Pão de Queijo is popular worldwide for its addictive taste and as a healthy alternative to bread.
